Wimbo Au Community Guidelines

Wimbo Au Pty Ltd (“Wimbo Au,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all users of our platform (“Platform”). These Community Guidelines (the “Guidelines”) outline the standards of conduct expected from all users (“Users,” “you,” or “your”) and provide the framework for maintaining the integrity and safety of our community. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Guidelines.

Failure to adhere to these Guidelines may result in the suspension or termination of your account, in addition to other legal or remedial actions as deemed appropriate by Wimbo Au.

1. Respectful Conduct

1.1 Mutual Respect

Wimbo Au is a diverse and inclusive community. Users are expected to treat one another with dignity and respect, irrespective of differences in race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, nationality, or personal beliefs.

1.2 Prohibited Behavior

The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

• Harassment and Bullying: Engaging in threats, intimidation, stalking, or abusive behavior, whether online or offline.

• Hate Speech and Discrimination: Promoting hate or prejudice based on race, gender, ethnicity, disability, religion, or sexual orientation.

• Boundary Violations: Disregarding or disrespecting the personal boundaries of others during online interactions or in-person events.

2. Authenticity and Transparency

2.1 Truthful Representation

Users must provide accurate and truthful information when using the Platform. Misrepresentation undermines the integrity of the community.

2.2 Prohibited Activities

• Fake Accounts: Creating accounts under false pretenses or impersonating others is not permitted.

• Catfishing: Misleading others regarding your identity, intentions, or affiliations is prohibited.

3. Safety, Age Restrictions, and Privacy

3.1 Age Restrictions

The Platform is intended for Users aged 18 and older.

• General Use: Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account or access the Platform.

• Restricted Features: Certain features, including events involving age-sensitive activities (e.g., alcohol consumption) or anonymous hosting, are restricted to Users aged 18 and older.

3.2 Safety Measures

• Harmful Activities: Organizing or participating in illegal activities, promoting violence, or encouraging unsafe behavior is strictly prohibited.

• Privacy Respect: Sharing or posting personal information about others without their consent is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to names, addresses, contact details, and private communications.

• No Doxxing: Intentionally exposing someone’s private information with malicious intent is strictly forbidden.

4. Prohibited Activities: Spam, Scams, and Excessive Self-Promotion

4.1 Spam and Unsolicited Messaging

Sending mass messages, irrelevant advertisements, or unsolicited promotional material is prohibited.

4.2 Fraudulent Behavior

Users may not engage in scams, financial fraud, or misleading solicitations. Examples include but are not limited to:

• Creating fake events.

• Misrepresenting services, goods, or other offerings.

4.3 Moderated Self-Promotion

While Wimbo Au supports Users in sharing their passions or businesses, excessive promotion or misuse of the Platform for commercial purposes is prohibited.

5. Event and Group Guidelines

5.1 Event Participation

Users hosting or attending events via the Platform must adhere to the following:

• Respect Event Hosts: Comply with the guidelines set by event organizers and refrain from disruptive or inappropriate behavior.

• Age-Restricted Events: Events involving alcohol or other restricted activities will be labeled as 18+ and are only accessible to eligible Users.

• Anonymous Events: Only Users aged 18+ may host anonymous events, where the host’s identity is not visible to participants.

5.2 Group Participation

Users must comply with the rules established by group organizers. Failure to adhere to group-specific guidelines may result in removal from the group.

6. Reporting Violations

6.1 Reporting Misconduct

Users are encouraged to report any conduct that violates these Guidelines. Reports can be submitted via the Platform’s reporting feature or by contacting customersupport@wimbo.au.

6.2 False Reports

Submitting false or malicious reports intended to harm another User or disrupt the Platform’s operations is prohibited.

7. Content Guidelines

7.1 Prohibited Content

All content shared on the Platform must align with these Guidelines. The following is strictly prohibited:

• Inappropriate Content: Content that is sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or otherwise deemed unsuitable for the community.

• Illegal Content: Materials promoting illegal activities, substances, or actions.

• Intellectual Property Infringement: Sharing copyrighted materials without authorization is prohibited.

8. Enforcement and Consequences

8.1 Account Actions

Violations of these Guidelines may result in the following:

• Warning: Minor infractions may result in a formal warning.

• Suspension: Repeated or serious violations may lead to temporary account suspension.

• Termination: Severe breaches of these Guidelines may result in permanent account termination without prior notice.

8.2 Appeals Process

Users whose accounts have been suspended or terminated may submit an appeal by contacting customersupport@wimbo.au.

• Submission Requirements: Appeals must include the User’s account information, a detailed explanation of the incident, and any supporting evidence.

• Review and Response: Wimbo Au will review appeals and respond within 15 days. Appeals do not guarantee account reinstatement.

9. Amendments to the Guidelines

Wimbo Au reserves the right to amend these Guidelines at any time. Updates will be communicated by updating the effective date at the top of the document. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Guidelines.
