This Event Hosting Policy (“Policy”) governs the terms and conditions for hosting events through the Wimbo Au platform (“Platform”). By hosting an event on Wimbo Au, you (“Host”) agree to comply with this Policy, along with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

1. Host Responsibilities

As a Host, you are responsible for:

• Accurate Event Details: Providing complete and truthful information about your event, including date, time, location, description, and any associated costs. Misleading or false information is strictly prohibited.

• Compliance with Laws: Ensuring your event adheres to all relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including obtaining any necessary permits or licenses.

• Age Restrictions: Clearly stating any age restrictions or requirements for your event and verifying that attendees meet these criteria.

• Safety and Conduct: Maintaining a safe environment for all participants and ensuring the event is conducted in a respectful and lawful manner.

• Communication: Promptly responding to attendee inquiries and providing updates regarding any changes or cancellations.

2. Cancellation Policies

• Host-Initiated Cancellations: If you need to cancel your event, notify all registered attendees as soon as possible through the Platform. Repeated cancellations may result in restrictions on your ability to host future events.

• Attendee Cancellations: Establish and clearly communicate your cancellation and refund policy to attendees at the time of event listing. Ensure that your policies are fair, transparent, and in compliance with applicable consumer protection laws.

3. Liability Disclaimers

• Platform Role: Wimbo Au serves as a facilitator for event listings and attendee engagement. We do not endorse, sponsor, or have control over any events hosted by users.

• Assumption of Risk: By hosting an event, you acknowledge that there are inherent risks involved. You assume full responsibility for any risks or issues that may arise before, during, or after your event.

• Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wimbo Au is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from or related to your event, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or financial loss.

4. Prohibited Activities

Hosts are prohibited from:

• Illegal Activities: Hosting events that involve illegal activities or promote violence, discrimination, or harassment.

• Misrepresentation: Providing false information about the event or impersonating another individual or entity.

• Unauthorized Use: Using the Platform to host events without the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violations of this Policy or suspect inappropriate behavior related to an event, please report it to us immediately at customersupport@wimbo.au.

6. Amendments

Wimbo Au reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. We will notify Hosts of any material changes by updating the effective date and posting the revised Policy on our website. Continued use of the Platform to host events constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
